Welcome

Welcome to York House School

Head of School, Deryn Lavell
The future that our students are graduating into will look vastly different to our world today. It's a future that demands education go beyond academics. And it demands a school that fosters creativity, builds character, and inspires a love of learning. Where ideas are born, knowledge thrives, and lasting connections are made. York House is that school.

Here, we're purposeful about ensuring every girl feels supported and empowered. We celebrate each student's educational journey with our talented faculty guiding them along the way. We offer a rigorous and rewarding learning experience that prepares students to be bold, ethical leaders in a rapidly changing world.

Our community is small. But that’s part of the magic. We get to know each other well and our students are seen and known for who they are. Our families are engaged in the life of our school, and we deeply appreciate their commitment to making our community stronger. Our students, families, faculty, staff, and 4000+ alums are vibrant and connected, representing our motto, "Not for Ourselves Alone," within the city and beyond, across the globe.

Ours is an exciting learning community where, since 1932, tradition meets innovation, and every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference. I invite you to be a part of it!
