NAIS Principles of Good Practice
York House School is committed to abiding by the Principles of Good Practice as outlined by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). We seek to enroll students who show potential to succeed in an engaging academic environment, demonstrate an interest and ability in a variety of co-curricular activities, and who are committed to serve their community.
We determine the suitability of each student by reviewing their application, report cards and letters of reference as well as administering an assessment and/or interview specific to each grade. We value the unique experiences, interests and talents of all applicants. Students who have alum status or have a sibling at York House School will be given priority if they fully meet the admission requirements.
- The school seeks to ensure the appropriate match between a prospective student/family and the mission of the institution.
